Stafford Loan Exit Counseling |

| The
Department of Education requires that you complete a Loan Counseling
session at the time that you separate from the University to ensure
that you are aware of both your rights and your responsibilities
as a Federal Stafford Loan borrower.
This session is not compatible with AOL or CompuServ browsers, so
please use a browser such as Netscape or Internet Explorer to complete
the session. If you do not have access to one of these browsers,
feel free to use a computer cluster on campus.

using actual loan data reported by your lenders**. |

general loan counseling session does not involve
using any personalized loan data. |

You will need your HESC PIN to access the personalized session. If
you do not have a HESC PIN, you will be prompted to create one.
** The loan
information reported by your lenders is to be used for budgeting
purposes. It may not include all loans that you have borrowed (for
example, it will not include any of your Direct Loans and may not
include any alternative loans). For your most accurate borrowing
data, please contact your lender(s) directly.

Additional,
Personalized Loan Counseling

Once you have completed the required online counseling session above,
you are eligible to receive a personalized loan repayment counseling
session with our Loan Education Specialist, Becky Rose. Ms. Rose will
prepare a repayment guide specifically for you, containing information
regarding the loans that you have borrowed while at Syracuse University.
To schedule a personalized session, please contact
Ms. Rose at finaidu4@syr.edu.
You will need to include your name, SUID, field of study (major),
and potential career field.

Perkins Loan Counseling |
|
|
| If
you are a Perkins loan borrower, you must also complete a Perkins
Loan Exit Counseling Session, located on the Student
Debt Management web site.
