PROSPECTIVE
STUDENTS-
UNDERGRADUATE FINANCIAL AID
|
HOW
TO APPLY |
| To
apply for financial aid at Syracuse University and receive a Financial
Aid Award, you must complete two required forms:
1. College Scholarship Service Financial Aid Profile (CSS
PROFILE)
|
-- Students
whose parents are divorced or separated are not required to complete
the CSS Noncustodial Parent's Statement. However, they may be required
to complete the SU Noncustodial Parent Statement. You will be notified
if this application is required.
-- Students
whose parents own a business must complete the
CSS Business/Farm Supplement. You will be notified to file this
required form if it pertains to your family.
|
| 2.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Eligibility
for need-based financial aid is established from the information
that you provide on these two forms. We encourage you to submit
these forms on line by using the links above.
You should apply for financial aid at the same time that you apply
for admission to Syacuse University. You do not have to wait for
an admissions decision before you complete the CSS Profile or the
FAFSA.
