SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT
TITLE:	Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute

ELIGIBILITY:	Applicant must have consistent active participation in public and/or community service activities, demonstrate financial need, and possess good writing skills. Applicants must have full-time enrollment in an accredited four-year university program during the period for which scholarships are requested. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

AMOUNT:	$2,500

DEADLINE:	April 16 (postmarked by)

ADDITIONAL INFO:	CHCI awards scholarship to Latino students, who have a history of performing public/community service activities in their communities and plan to continue contributing in the future. Students with excellent leadership potential are encouraged to apply. Awards are designed to cover tuition, room and board, textbooks, and other educational expenses.
