SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT


SPONSOR:

The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago
   

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicant must be Jewish born and intend to remain in the Chicago metropolitan area after completing school. Applicant must be entering a professional post-graduate education program on a full-time basis. Applicant must be entering their junior or senior year. Must live in a legal domicility of the greater Chicago metropolitan area, or in some cases, Cook County or Northwest Indiana. Refugees or asylees are encouraged to apply, as citizenship is not a prerequisite.
   

AMOUNT:

$500,000 is scholarship funds will be available

ADDITIONAL INFO: Applicants must demonstrate career promise in a helping profession such as medicine, education, Jewish communal service, the rabbinate, social service or law. Applicant must also be available for a personal interview at Jewish Vocational Service between March 1 and April 20.
