Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund For Women from Developing Countries |
| ELIGIBILITY: |
A
woman may apply for a MMMF grant if she meets all the following criteria:
1. Has a record of service to women and/or children in her country. 2. Resides in the U.S. or Canada at the time she submits an application. 3. Is enrolled in an accredited educational institution in the U.S.or Canada by Sept. 2007 and during the entire period covered by the grant. 4. Use the grant to continue to study for her degree. 5. Must be a national of a developing country that is currently eligible to borrow from the World Bank and cannot be a U.S. Green card holder Canadian Immigrant.. 6. Plans to return to her home country or another developing country in about two years. 7. Must be at least 25 years old by December 31, 2007. 8. Must demostrate financial need. 9. Not be related to any World Bank Group staff member or his/her spouse. |
