The University strives to meet the financial need of admitted students and offers a variety of funding options to help make college as affordable as possible. Consider these facts:
- During the previous academic year, approximately 82% of Syracuse University students received some form of financial support totaling more than $465 million, including assistance from institutional, federal, state, or private sources.
- The single largest form of that financial aid was more than $349 million awarded to students in the form of Syracuse University grants and scholarships.
The 2024-2025 FAFSA was not available until the end of December 2023. Colleges and universities will not receive FAFSA forms from the Department of Education until March 2024.
