Dates and Deadlines

To help you meet financial aid deadlines, the following are the various due dates for early and regular decision, transfer, returning, undergraduate, and graduate students. Depending on your program or career, you may be required to complete the FAFSA, the CSS Profile, or both.

Important Note for Incoming Undergraduate Students and Families: To receive a timely aid offer, students must submit the FAFSA and CSS Profile by the published due date. We will continue to accept aid applications submitted after the published due dates.  However, applications submitted after the published deadlines will be considered for federal financial aid. Students will also be considered for need-based Syracuse University grant funding on a funds-available basis.
