Tuition Exchange
Tuition Exchange is a reciprocal scholarship opportunity for eligible faculty and staff dependents at all 700+ member institutions.
Each institution defines who is the beneficiary dependent. Check with your institution’s employee handbook for the employer’s definition of beneficiary dependent.
The Tuition Exchange scholarship is not a guaranteed award for any faculty or staff member at any institution. Students must first meet the admissions and awarding criteria to be eligible for Tuition Exchange. At Syracuse University, Tuition Exchange is a competitive award and students are selected for Tuition Exchange upon admission to Syracuse University (first-year or transfer). Students not selected for the Tuition Exchange award upon entering Syracuse University, will not be reconsidered in future academic years.
The value of the Tuition Exchange scholarship is a set annual rate. For the 2024-25 academic year, the set rate is $42,000; for the 2025-26 academic year, the set rate is $43,000.

Notification will come from both the Tuition Exchange and via email from Syracuse University’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship Programs.
